Mini-golf - recreational fun for all

Mini-golf – recreational fun for the whole family!

Also ideal as a team-building exercise in the form of a small golf tournament – perfect for your meetings or conferences.

The EISVOGEL mini-golf course is located directly adjacent to the Hotel and Gasthof EISVOGEL overlooking the Abens.

Unlike most mini-golf courses, here you play on artificial turf “holes”. Ranging from 8 to 16 metres, the 18 long holes are much wider and longer than usual mini-golf courses. You’ll love the variety and exercise on golf holes very similar to the real thing. Indentations, hillocks and troughs imitate the conditions on a real golf course. Grassy and sandy bunkers, cliffs and boulders, trees and running water provide obstacles along the course. The par figures for each hole generate competition amongst players and also let your compete against yourself. The rules are very similar to golf rules and players have to determine the ideal putting position on the hole. The equipment is also very similar to golf, in that players play with a putter and an original golf ball

There’s also a putting green with 6 holes and a bunker for golfers. Mini-golf – putting at its best for advanced players and novices alike – experts and beginners, young and old.

Region

There are so many stories about the “wild mountain” of the “Holledau”, as the Hallertau is known locally – about hop cultivation, customs and naturally about the beer. The countryside is picture book perfect, especially in summer when the eye wanders over the extensive fields of hops punctuated by the yellow fields of rape.

The regions close to the Danube are very different: the river alternates from being a powerful current, to becoming the dreamy languid Altwasser and then the enchanting Weltenburger Narrows. A landscape crying out to be painted with its steep rocky cliffs on which castles perch, forested hills, meadows, lowland forests ...

Natural spectacles that provide the framework for the landscape. Wolnzach and Mainburg are the centres of global hop growing, the Roman bathing culture of Bad Gögging, the Altmühl Valley with its palaces and castles and of course the many breweries (as beer is almost brewed everywhere here). Experience among other things how hops are made into beer on a guided tour through the “Zum Kuchlbauer” brewery in Abensberg.
